consider a healthy diet? Should I try Atkins or just stick to a low

Dear Sharon,
You can pick a nutritionally balanced low carb
diet or a sensible low fat diet plan. We suggest low fat diets
because they are easier to maintain. A healthy diet should always
include at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables.
It's important that you eat small meals every
3 to 4 hours so that you don't get too hungry between meals and you
keep your energy level high.
Maintaining a low carb diet can be difficult
but you can reduce bad carbs by avoiding junk food. To lose 1 to 2
pounds per week, stay between 1200 and 1400 calories each day. Men
should stay between 1500 and 2000 calories. If possible, exercise 20
to 30 minutes, 5 times per week. Fast pace walking or stationary
biking in front of the TV makes an excellent fat burning exercise.

that you will lose weight and build-up your immune system which will
help fight diseases. A healthy diet also keeps your energy level
