High Colesterol Remedy
 

 

To reduce overall colesterol, you must reduce saturated fats from your diet. Below are foods that lower colesterol.

 

Saturated fats are notorious for raising LDL ( bad colesterol ) and comes in the form of butter, cream sauces (especially alfredo sauce) and oils from frying  - bake foods instead.

 

High colesterol also comes from fatty desserts such as cake, and salad dressing which is very high in saturated fat and colesterol if you use too much.

 

Below are foods that lower colesterol

 

Breakfast

·        Cereal with low fat milk (1% fat or non fat)

·        Oats or Cream of Wheat

·        Waffles

·        Juice

·        Fruits

 

Lunch and Dinner Foods that Lower Colesterol

 

·        Chicken or turkey sandwich – use low fat mayo

·        Veggies – carrots, celery

·        Baked chicken – Remove skin

·        Fish

·        Spaghetti

·        Whole grain bread

·        Beans

·        Chicken noodle soup

·        Fat Free Chips

·        Chicken-Veggie Stir Fry
