diet plan is that you can lose up to 10 pounds in 2 days. In reality, your
metabolism doesn't work that fast. To lose weight, you need to burn more
calories than you take in. Most women burn between 1900 and 2200
calories per day and men burn between 2400 and 2800 calories per day.
Since 1 pound of fat is equivalent
to 3,500 calories, it would take nearly 14 days of not eating
anything to lose 10 pounds of fat and not eating is a very unhealthy
way to lose weight. So how does grapefruit juice make you lose 10 pounds
in 2 days? Certainly no doctor or dietician can answer this question.
