second and if you eat more energy (calories) than you burn, that energy is
stored as fat.
We gain weight when we consistently eat more
calories than we burn and those excess calories are stored as fat. The way

too many calories. By reducing your calorie intake by 25%, you won't feel
starved and your body will burn the excess energy commonly known as fat.

foods you plan to eat each day and place a calorie value by each food
item. Your daily calorie intake to lose 1 pound each week should be 1200
to 1600 calories for women and 1700 to 2200 calories for men. Your
metabolism depends on many factors but this is a general rule to lose
weight.
