We strongly recommend stationary bike riding as one of the best exercise routines. Cycling uses the large leg muscles, which burns more calories than most aerobic exercises. Stationary cycling for 35 minutes burns 400 calories and that's 3 times the calories you will burn from walking.

The misconception is that you need to "huff and puff" to lose weight. In reality, the opposite is true. Strenuous exercise is not the best way to lose weight. By keeping your heart rate at 50% to 60% of it's maximum, you can exercise very comfortably for 30 minutes a day without feeling drained or tired.

Place your stationary bike in front of the TV and cycle for 30 minutes watching your favorite television program. Before you know it, your exercise routine is over, and you can easily ride 30 minutes per day.
