Visit Elimination Diet Plan
The best diet for elimination is a high
fiber diet because fiber allows digested food to pass through
the intestines much faster. The end result is frequent bowel
movements. The other advantage of an elimination diet is to
help fight disease. A diet high in fiber will consist of many
fruits and vegetables.
Fruits and particularly vegetables, are low
in calorie and fat. Some other foods that could be consider
good for elimination are:
- raw vegetables such as carrots,
cabbage, celery, bean sprouts
- whole grain wheat and oaks
- fruits (particularly prunes and plums)
- beans
- whole grain noodles
- at least 8 cups of water
- coffee (1 cup)
Diets that promote better elimination
include the foods above. These foods provide stable blood
sugar so you don't get excessive mood swings and hunger pains.
A healthy diet is very important to better elimination. The
reason most people have poor elimination is because their diet
lacks fiber and nutrition. If you're the type that tends to
eat whatever is available, then chances are good that you have
poor elimination.
