The best diet I ever tried included high protein and low carbs.  I lost weight but unfortunately, I gained it all back.  This time I want to lose weight and keep it off. What approach should I try.

You can lose weight on almost any diet if you limit calories.  You lose weight by burning more energy than you take in. Since food is energy measured in calories, you should limit calories in an efficient manner to create weight loss.

We recommend a sensible diet that includes foods you normally eat. However, your diet should include foods that are healthy and low in simple carbs.  Simple carbs are found in most junk food. Cut your portion size by one-third and plan each meal. This will help you control calories, which is always the best method to losing weight.
